Youth's Role in Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development

With the development of human civilization, scientists have invented different technologies to make human life more comfortable on earth. Use of technology has flooded in every corner of the globe. Though development has many positive impacts, ignoring it's negative impact won't be a worth game. It is therefore the term "Sustainable Development" has been coined for the first time in Brundtland report, 1987 by the United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development. Sustainable development is the development that meets the needs of present without compromising the ability of future generation to meet their own needs. Economic growth, Social inclusion and Environmental protection are needed to be harmonized to achieve sustainable development. These elements are interconnected and all are crucial for the well-being of individuals and societies.
